Roblox AI tools in 2026
Creators now mix Roblox Studio’s built-in Assistant, third-party coding agents that sync into Studio, and smaller script or asset generators. This hub explains what each category does, then links to fact-checked guides for the two tools we cover in batch 1.
What “Roblox AI tooling” means right now
As of late 2026 the stack looks like this:
- Official Assistant (built into Studio). Answers questions, writes and edits scripts, creates objects, pulls Creator Store assets, generates materials and meshes, and can run a reviewable plan before it changes your place. Roblox also ships a built-in MCP server so trusted third-party AI clients can talk to an open Studio session. Details: Creator Hub Assistant guide and MCP docs.
- Third-party Studio agents. Products such as Lemonade AI (lemonade.gg) install a free Creator Store plugin, sign you in with Roblox on the web, and push planned changes into the open place. Lemonade’s terms call it a middle-layer agent; project files stay on Roblox.
- Narrower generators. Tools in the “AI script generator” and UI/GFX categories (including ForgeGUI) focus on scripts, interfaces or thumbnails rather than a full plan-build loop. Guides for those land in the next batch.
Roblox’s April 15, 2026 newsroom post says 44% of the top 1,000 creators (by Robux spent in experience over the prior 28 days) used Assistant or third-party AI tools via MCP between March 6 and April 7, 2026. That is Roblox’s own figure, not a GGDuck measurement.
Batch 1 comparison
We start with the official Assistant and the strongest third-party demand signal we could measure on the Creator Store: Lemonade’s plugin rating and vote volume.
| Studio AI Assistant | Lemonade AI | |
|---|---|---|
| Who makes it | Roblox (built into Studio) | Lemonade Labs (Creator Store plugin + lemonade.gg) |
| Where you work | Inside Studio’s Assistant panel | Web agent at lemonade.gg, synced through the Studio plugin |
| Cost (public facts) | Included with Studio; no separate subscription described in Creator Hub docs | Plugin is free to install. Terms describe a paid monthly subscription (Polar) for higher prompt limits. Public pricing page redirects to sign-in — exact dollar amounts are not listed without an account |
| Demand signal we checked | Roblox: 44% of top 1,000 creators used Assistant or MCP AI tools (Mar 6–Apr 7, 2026 window) | Creator Store listing: 88% positive of 20,000 votes (17,600 up / 2,400 down), checked Oct 27, 2026 via Roblox toolbox API |
| Planning before edits | Planning Mode (/plan or Plan dropdown); editable Markdown plan; Build is an explicit approval gate | Web flow shows a plan for approval before applying steps (community walkthroughs; Lemonade’s own public docs are thin) |
| Meshes / materials | Yes — mesh, material and procedural model generation in Assistant / MCP | Coding/UI-focused agent; founder interview says they started on coding and are expanding UI; map/mesh is not their early focus |
| Project files | Live in your Roblox place | Terms and privacy policy: Lemonade does not host your codebase; files stay on Roblox |
| Refunds | N/A (no separate Lemonade-style subscription) | Terms: all subscription payments final and non-refundable |

Coming next
Batch 2 (not built yet): ForgeGUI and a page on the broader Roblox AI script generator category. This overview will link them when those pages ship.
How to use any of these safely
- Keep a published or saved copy of the place before large AI edits.
- Prefer plan/review modes (Assistant Planning Mode; Lemonade plan approval) over blind one-shot prompts.
- Playtest in Studio and read generated scripts before publishing.
- Only connect MCP clients you trust — Studio’s MCP docs warn that clients can read and modify open places.
- Read pricing and refund rules before paying for any third-party subscription.

FAQ
What are Roblox AI tools in 2026?
Three overlapping categories: (1) Roblox Studio AI Assistant, the official built-in helper for scripts, objects, meshes and Planning Mode; (2) third-party agents such as Lemonade AI that connect a web coding agent to Studio through a Creator Store plugin; (3) narrower tools such as ForgeGUI and AI script generators that focus on scripts, UI or assets. This hub covers Assistant and Lemonade first; ForgeGUI and script-generator pages are next.
Is GGDuck affiliated with Roblox or Lemonade?
No. GGDuck is an independent fan guide. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Roblox Corporation, Lemonade Labs, or any other AI tool maker named here. Product names belong to their owners.
Which Roblox AI tool should I start with?
If you already use Studio and want something free with no extra account, open the built-in Assistant. If you want a web agent that plans and syncs into Studio and you are fine signing into lemonade.gg with Roblox, try Lemonade. For both, treat generated code as a draft: playtest, read the scripts, and keep Studio undo history handy.
Do these tools replace learning Luau?
No. Official docs and third-party comparisons treat them as accelerators. Generated scripts can be incomplete or wrong. Planning Mode and Lemonade plan-approval steps exist because one-shot prompts often miss intent. You still need to test and edit.
