What kind of game is it?
Roblox lists the genre as Strategy / Tower Defense. A server holds up to 24 players, and a match takes you plus up to 3 friends. It runs on PC, mobile and tablet. The developer’s description promises 5 worlds and 25 stages, an endless Infinite Mode, and the Dungeon Train for “brutal Challenges.” It also says the Nightosphere and the Crystal Dimension are “coming soon.” The Roblox API does not flag the game as officially licensed. Treat it as a fan-made game with Adventure Time characters, not a Cartoon Network release.
The loop works like most Roblox anime-style tower defense games. You earn Gems from stages, summon heroes at the Treasure Hoard, and level them with XP Candies. Then you reroll their traits and stat grades and evolve your best heroes at the Enchiridion. The hub is the Tree Fort, and you can field up to 6 heroes per match.
Halloween update (Oct 23–26)
The game’s official Roblox event listing, HALLOWEEN UPDATE 🎃 (“New content.”), runs from Oct 23, 12:00 UTC (8 AM ET; 20:00 UTC+8) to Oct 26, 12:20 UTC. The listing gives no patch notes. GGDuck has not confirmed what the update adds. The code HALLOWEENSOON was released ahead of it, and one tracker now reports a HALLOWEEN code that pays Candy Corns (see below). Unverified

GGDuck has not redeemed these. The six codes below appear with the same rewards on GamesRadar+ (Oct 21), Destructoid (Oct 21), Beebom (Oct 22) and Pro Game Guides (Oct 22). RELEASE is also printed in the official Roblox description. No source lists any expired codes yet.

How to redeem
- Launch Candy Kingdom Defense and finish or skip the tutorial (Beebom and Pro Game Guides say codes unlock after it).
- Go to Jake’s Code Corner in the Tree Fort. Beebom says the left-side Areas menu can take you there.
- Talk to Jake, type the code into TYPE A CODE and press REDEEM.
- Most sources say capitals do not matter, so focus on spelling. If a code fails, you may have used it already or it may have expired.
Some sources call the currency “Diamonds.” The game’s own Robux products call it Gems.
Tier list (community, Oct 21)
No official unit stats are published. The table below follows The Phrasemaker’s Oct 21 list (Serhii Patskan), which ranks the base and evolved heroes you can realistically get. It leaves out Secret units (reported 0.05% summon rate) and Battle Pass heroes. The damage numbers come from gameplay demos reported by Roonby and candykingdomdefense.wiki, not from GGDuck testing.

Where lists disagree: robloxguide.wiki (Oct 22) puts Lemongrab in S and Finn / Adult Finn in A. Its ranking is based mostly on the official description, not on damage tests. Every list agrees that Jake → Alien Jake is the safest long-term investment. Expect these rankings to change after the Halloween patch.
Evolution and upgrades
The official description names three evolutions “and more”: Alien Jake, Adult Finn and King BMO. It also names a Mythic trait called Oh My Glob. Guides add Marceline Beast and Prism Queen Rainicorn to the evolution list.
- Where: the Enchiridion (the in-game book of heroes; store text calls it the Enchiridion Shrine). Add a hero, check the material list, press Evolve.
- What it costs: Robux product text says every evolution needs Enchiridion Pages. Gems are also described as being for “summons and evolutions.” Pro Game Guides and candykingdomdefense.wiki say Jake’s evolution uses Sandwiches from stage and challenge rewards. Exact amounts vary by hero and are not published. Unverified
- What you keep: Roonby and candykingdomdefense.wiki both report that evolving Jake kept his level and trait. robloxguide.wiki warns that the panel says items are wasted in early stages, so do not feed materials to a hero you will not keep.
- Traits: Trait Crystals reroll a hero’s trait at Castle Lemongrab (official product text). Reported traits include Quick and the Mythic Oh My Glob.
- Stat grades: Units of Juice reroll a hero’s stat grades in the Reconditioning Chamber (official product text). Some code sites describe Juice as “extra units.” That is wrong.
- Levels: XP Candies level heroes. candykingdomdefense.wiki reports that a hero on your active team cannot be fed, so unequip it, feed it, then re-equip it.
Modes
- Story: 5 worlds, 25 stages. Act 1 is Candy Road. robloxguide.wiki reports 10 waves and 30 rounds per stage. Guides mention normal and hard difficulty.
- Infinite Mode: endless waves; the usual farm for Gems, XP Candies, Trait Crystals and evolution items. Turn on Auto Skip Waves in settings while grinding.
- Dungeon Train: the hard challenge mode. Play it after your squad can clear the story reliably.
Beginner tips
- Redeem all six cross-checked codes first. That gives you 4,600 Gems and 63 Trait Crystals, enough for several summons.
- Build around Jake early. He grows from single-target into full AoE and evolves into the top-ranked Alien Jake.
- Do not overspend on one expensive tower in wave 1. Cover the lane cheaply first, then upgrade the hero handling the pressure point.
- For bosses (one guide cites 16,000 HP bosses on hard stages), let AoE units clear the crowd and point burst damage at the boss.
- Pick one evolution target and save its materials. Spreading items across heroes wastes them.
- Reroll traits only on heroes you plan to keep. Evolution reportedly keeps the trait, so a good roll on base Jake carries over.
- Bring friends. Four-player co-op makes the hard stages and the Dungeon Train much easier.
