Pixel Lineage guide

Pixel Lineage is a free turn-based roguelike RPG on Roblox. You prep in a castle hub, SET OUT on a dungeon run, and fight with timed attack and dodge prompts rather than a hidden dice roll. The developer says it is inspired mostly by Terraria, updated weekly, and not meant to be easy. As of late October 2026 the listing title is Pixel Lineage [🎃Spear Class + Dragon Race].

What kind of game is it?

Roblox lists the genre as RPG / Turn-based RPG. A server holds up to 50 players. Runs can be solo or in a party of up to 4. Between floors the party votes on a path card, so the route is not a fixed map. Combat is turn-based but active: attacks and dodges resolve through quick-time prompts, and skills spend Energy before going on cooldown.

The long loop is castle prep → Normal Act 1 clear → Act 2 Super Class → later Ultra and Torment. Race evolution (Race EVO) and the October Halloween Candy shop sit on top of that. The game is still early; the Roblox description warns you will find bugs.

Castle prep before you SET OUT

The castle is the hub. Guides that walk the first clear agree on this order:

1. Like, Favorite and join the Pixel Lineage Roblox group. Codes will not redeem until you do. The game description says this explicitly.
2. Redeem codes at the Goblin Merchant (bottom-right of the castle screen; scroll to the code box).
3. Roll a race and a talent. Race spins and talent spins are rerolls. One castle guide counts 13 races in the spin pool plus Dullahan in the Candy shop, and 7 talents. Bank spins until you know what you want; Human is a large share of rolls on published chance tables.
4. Lock a base class. This choice is not a free swap later. Changing class generally means resetting the character.
5. Repair what you can afford, then SET OUT on Normal. Hard and Nightmare are for later; Race EVO materials are documented as Hard / Nightmare drops.

Other hub stops named across beginner guides: Wishing Fountain (daily gift), Journey tracker, Inn (storage / switching), Ranch (eggs and pets), Hall of Lineage (Valor ranks that persist), Trade Hall, Guild Hall, Alchemist, Blacksmith, Auction and Shrine of Oaths. One guide quotes repair prices around 100 gold (Alchemist), 150 gold (Blacksmith), 250 gold (Auction) and 350 Knowledge (Shrine). Treat those as reported, not measured by GGDuck. Unverified

Classes

Early 2026 guides list six base classes. The current Roblox title adds a Spear class, so beginners should expect seven options:

No official attack / defence / speed tables are published. Difficulty labels above are community rankings, not developer ratings.

Normal Act 1: Sunmeadow Wilds

Act 1 is Sunmeadow Wilds: floors 1 through 10. Between floors you vote on a path card. Cards named in guides include Camp, Scout, Shop, Mystery, Blood Altar, Hunt a Champion, Mini-Boss and Trainer’s Shrine. Camp is described as restoring about 15% HP or granting an Inspired buff. In Act 1 the shrine card is reported to give XP, not a Super yet.

• When you are hurt, prefer Camp, Shop or Scout over fight cards.
• Read the card text before you lock the vote.
• Floor 10 is a boss. Clearing it opens Act 2, The Dungeon.
• Use a potion before your last life. A wipe ends the lineage.
• Return Home (bottom-left in guides) ends the run and keeps the character. Walking out beats greed when a fight is lost.

After the first clear

• Act 2 / The Dungeon. A Trainer’s Shrine path card offers 3 Super branches for your locked class. The pick is permanent for that hero. First Super move on pick; next moves reported at level 10 and 14.
• Ultra. Apply a matching Ultra Sigil to your Super. Drop acts differ by guide (one says Act 5+, a Spear-focused article says the Sigil of Dragonlord is Act 8 exclusive). Mark that as disputed and check in-game. Unverified
• Torment. Late mode described as unlocking around level 50 after the story, then a daily set of 3 lands with Valor and Tormented gear.
• Race EVO. Uses a matching Heirloom and Heart Blood of your current race from Hard or Nightmare. October 2026 Halloween uses Candy; OCTOBER pays 25 Candy, and Dullahan is the Candy-shop race.

Beginner tips that save runs

1. Redeem codes only after joining the group. A correct code is rejected until you do.
2. Type 0y0 with a zero, not the letter O, if you try that code.
3. Do not burn every Race Spin and Talent Spin on day one. Bank them until you have a target.
4. Start on Normal. Raise difficulty after a clean clear.
5. Leave with Return Home instead of spending your last life on a fight you cannot finish.
6. Get a pet from the Ranch when you can; pets fight and support, they are not just cosmetics (Roonby beginner guide).

Robux store (official names and prices)

From the Roblox developer-products and game-passes APIs for this universe (fetched Oct 22, 2026). Exact effects of unnamed packs are not in the public product text.

• Game pass: Quality Hunter (250 Robux). A Name Changer pass also appears with no public price in the API response.
• Named products: Starter Pack 25; Quick Build 15; Extra Slot 100; Extra Storage +25 100; Extra Inventory +25 100; +3 Spins 75; +3 Talents 75; +10 Race Spins 350; Skill Tree Reset 125; Life Restore 250; Name Change 49; Gift: Quality Hunter 250; Cosmetics at 79 / 299 / 799 / 999.
• Unlabelled packs named only "150", "500" and "1500" sell for 49 / 129 / 349 Robux. What currency they grant is Unverified.

Pixel Lineage codes

GGDuck has not redeemed these. The table combines the Roblox description with Pocket Tactics (Oct 21), Destructoid (Oct 22), Pro Game Guides (Oct 19) and Roblox Den (Oct 22). Where lists disagree, the Status column says so. Expired consensus: EARLY and THANKYOU.

How to redeem

1. Join the Pixel Lineage group. Like and Favorite the experience.
2. Launch Pixel Lineage and load the castle hub (create a character first if prompted).
3. Open the Goblin Merchant (bottom-right of the castle screen).
4. Scroll to the code box, paste one code, press Redeem. Capitals usually do not matter, but keep the ! on COMMUNITY! and the leading zero on 0y0.

Beginner checklist

1. Join the group, then redeem OCTOBER and any other codes your list still accepts.
2. Lock Warrior or Archer for the first Normal save unless you already know another class.
3. SET OUT on Normal, solo if you want every drop.
4. Vote Camp / Shop / Scout when low. Clear floor 10.
5. In Act 2, read all three Super options before you lock one.
6. Save Hard / Nightmare and Race EVO for after a clean Normal loop.
