The Hollow: Roblox's Halloween 2026 event
The Hollow is Roblox's own platform-wide Halloween event, announced on October 21, 2026. It is one shared survival game: each day for nine days a new maze appears and a monster from a famous Roblox horror game joins the hunt. Complete quests for exclusive UGC items, then survive to the live finale on October 31.

How to join
- Check your account age. Roblox says The Hollow is open to anyone with a Roblox account aged 9 or older in most regions (Roblox Select accounts too). Access can vary by region.
- Enter the event hub. The Hollow runs in its own event hub, not inside one of the nine games. Roblox had not published a direct hub link as of the morning of Oct 22. Look for it on the Roblox home page or in the event banner once it opens. Be careful with copycat games named "The Hollow"; join only from Roblox's own banner or announcement. Hub link TBA
- Come back daily. A new maze and a new monster arrive each day, and the map gets more unsettling as the event goes on. Quest rewards help you "survive another night," so falling behind may make later days harder.
Early access with Roblox Plus
Active Roblox Plus subscribers can enter the hub at noon PT on Oct 22, two hours before everyone else. Roblox describes it as time "to explore before the full event begins." Plus members also get:
- An exclusive profile frame and background.
- An exclusive item launcher for gifting items to other players during the event.
- The event theme, which active subscribers keep after the finale.
Roblox does not list any Plus-only quests or UGC rewards, so you don't need Plus to finish the event. Before the announcement, leak accounts reported only that Plus would get early entry, which turned out to be correct.

Each of the nine monsters is borrowed from a popular Roblox horror game. Roblox listed them in this order but did not say it is the release order, so the day each one arrives stays TBA until it happens.

Nine days starting Oct 22 means the last new monster lands on Oct 30, the day before the finale. Daily switch times have not been announced. Unverified
Quests, rewards and free items
What Roblox has confirmed:
- Quests earn exclusive UGC. Completing quests in The Hollow rewards exclusive UGC avatar items, plus rewards "that can help them survive another night," which suggests in-event items or upgrades as well as cosmetics.
- Clues and mazes. Each day you search a new maze for clues while avoiding the day's monster.
- Marketplace items for sale. Separate from the free quest rewards, Roblox is selling limited-time Halloween avatar items, including the Hollow Horseman, dozens of exclusive items and new seasonal makeup looks. These cost Robux; they are not quest rewards.
The quest list, the names of the free UGC items and how many there are have not been announced. TBA No codes have been announced for The Hollow.
Creator livestreams and the Oct 31 finale
Every day, "creator champions" will livestream from inside The Hollow, uncovering clues and helping players survive. Roblox's post names LimaMosca, KreekCraft, Bundun and SirDapper. GamesBeat's longer list adds NO_DATA, VanilBean, Kreative Kyle, Kim Left Arm, Kat and Itsjustnicholas. Before launch, NO_DATA teased that Roblox asked for help "defeating a monster" live on YouTube and Roblox, so expect creator streams to reveal clues before guides catch up.
The live finale for all players starts the morning of Saturday, October 31 (US time). In UTC+8 that is likely the night of Oct 31 or early Nov 1; we will add the exact time when Roblox posts it. After the finale you can keep collecting rewards until noon PST on Nov 2.

Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 2 PM PT (5 PM ET, 21:00 UTC). In UTC+8 that is 5 AM on Friday, October 23. Roblox Plus subscribers can enter the hub two hours earlier, at noon PT (19:00 UTC, 3 AM Oct 23 in UTC+8).
When does The Hollow end?
Roblox says the live finale begins the morning of October 31 and rewards can be collected until noon PST on Monday, November 2, 2026 (20:00 UTC, 4 AM Nov 3 in UTC+8). US clocks fall back on November 1, so the end time is in PST, not PDT.
Is The Hollow free?
Yes. Roblox says the event is open to anyone with a Roblox account, ages 9 and older in most regions. Roblox Plus only adds early hub access and cosmetic extras; the quests and UGC rewards are not listed as Plus-only.
How do I get early access to The Hollow?

Do I need to play DOORS, Piggy and the other horror games?
Not according to Roblox's announcement. The Hollow is one shared survival game inside the event hub, and the monsters come into that hub from the nine games. Some early fan reports guessed players would have to visit all nine games; the official post does not say that. Quest details may still change this once the event is live.
Are there codes for The Hollow?
No codes have been announced. Rewards come from completing quests in the event hub. Treat any "The Hollow code" you see as unverified.
