Classes are the characters you play during a shift. Each one changes your perks for the whole run. Here are all 10 with their Doubloon price, what they do, and which one to save for.

Which class to buy first
- Jim (150). The cheapest paid unlock. Faster grilling plus 3 Kelp Shakes helps from Day 1.
- Pearl (550) if fires keep ending your runs: faster sodas and a Fire Extinguisher.
- Mr. Krabs (1,700) if you play with friends: the extra table and the crew-wide +10% cash add up in co-op.
- SpongeBob (2,500) is the long-term goal, especially solo. Two patties at once doubles your prep speed, and auto-flip stops patties from burning while you are at the register.
Each class levels up with XP. The game's "Promotion" (Level 2) and "Promotion II" (Level 3) badges are owned by only 95,292 and 8,434 players, so a Level 3 character is rare (Roblox badges API, Oct 20). The Robux store sells "Skip to Class Lvl 2" (199) and "Skip to Class Lvl 3" (249).
How to earn Doubloons for free
Open Tasks in the lobby, complete objectives during shifts, then press Claim. Doubloons are not added until you claim.

- Night Shop sometimes offers a small Doubloon pack for restaurant cash; buy it when it shows up.
- Events: the ACHIEVEMENTS event (Oct 16 to Oct 20, 21:30 UTC) added 100+ challenges with bigger Doubloon payouts. The Halloween event brings limited skins from Oct 23.
- Robux: 50 Doubloons for 99, 200 for 299, 500 for 749, 1,500 for 1,499 (official developer products).
Skins
Once you own a class, its skins can be bought with Doubloons on the same panel. Only 17,867 players own the "Fashion Fish" badge for unlocking a class skin. Skin names and prices are not in Roblox's public data, so we do not list them here.

Jim (150) is the best cheap pick, and Mr. Krabs (1,700) is best for co-op money because his +10% end-of-day cash bonus applies to the whole crew.
How much does SpongeBob cost in Save the Krusty Krab?
2,500 Doubloons. The largest Robux pack is 1,500 Doubloons for 1,499 Robux, so you still need Tasks rewards on top.

How do you get Doubloons fast?
Claim Tasks in the lobby after every shift (1 to 10 Doubloons each; the 5-star solo task pays 10), and look for Doubloon packs in the Night Shop. Limited events like ACHIEVEMENTS (Oct 16-20) pay extra.
How many players have unlocked a new class?
Very few. The "New Face" badge (unlock a new class) has 159,930 owners, about 5.6% of the 2.86 million players who have started a shift (Roblox badges API, Oct 20, 2026).
